I have always loved marketing and negotiating…ALWAYS! It started in elementary school, I spent a good amount of my time with my dad in work settings and he would always share this is why you do this, this is why you do that, this is how you handle this type of situation, etc. When I had fundraising sales with school, I would set a goal and then create a marketing plan and strategically plan how to finish with the most sales, and I did! Learning about business management and marketing at a young age combined with my competitiveness grew into developing small businesses in high school and by my senior year of high school, I was working at a real estate office marketing for real estate agents. This is where my genuine love for real estate began. When I learned my passion for negotiating, marketing and business management could be merged with my love for community, homes, and people… I knew I hit the jackpot!

How it began

I continued working with real estate agents throughout college. I changed my area of study from law to English, Technical and Professional Writing where I learned how to code and develop web sites and strengthen my writing skills. After graduating from the University of South Florida, I decided the best way to become the best real estate agent is to learn every aspect of a transaction. I went to work in office management to learn what happens in a real estate office and this lead to one of the most successful agents in the area taking me under her wing and sharing her experience and knowledge with me on a daily basis. I then decided working for an attorney doing closings was my next step and in 1998 I was ready to become a real estate agent. I had only one real estate firm in mind, Michael Saunders & Company, and at the age of 23, I became the youngest real estate agent Michael ever brought on board since she started the company in 1976.

I married my high school sweetheart and my career was in full swing, until I was told by my physician to put it on hold. Six pregnancies, four births and two miscarriages in six years guided my career in a different path and for nearly a decade I worked in construction, web design and marketing, and had slowed my real estate down to just working with Marriott/Ritz Carlton corporate relocations. The main area of professional focus that I have maintained since day one is I specialize in communication and education. I firmly believe that providing continuous communication and thorough education provides my clients unparalleled service and opportunity as we work together to build their real estate investment.

Throughout these years, I built an in-depth knowledge of new construction, remodeling, business development, marketing, and real estate and learned how my knowledge and experience creates an extraordinary opportunity to better assist clients with buying, selling, and building their real estate investments.
