Wow, another year is coming to a close. For me, this time of the year is hitting differently. I am now 51, an empty nester, and after surviving near death – I find myself feeling reborn. I find myself not wanting to return to who I was before…not that it was bad in anyway. It was just a version of myself that felt stuck, continuously spinning but not getting anywhere.
I think feeling myself falling into darkness and screaming, climbing and fighting for the light changed a lot of things for me. At 50, this experience was a rebirth of me personally and my ability to take advantage of opportunity and I am not going to let it slip by. I am a mother of four of the most amazing kids and while I have spent the last 25 years teaching, guiding them and supporting them as they grew, developed and spread their wings… personally and professionally it is now time for me to put that energy into spreading my wings. While I have been a real estate agent since 1998, committing 100% of my time was dedicated more to being a mom and maintaining my career. 2026 is going to be the year I elevate my career and these are my tips on how to shed 2025 and soar into success over the next 12 months.

I have shared my list hoping it will assist you with shedding 2025 and rebuilding in 2026. One thing I have learned in 2025 is everyday is a true gift of opportunity and losing ourselves in the daily grind holds us back from basking in the glory of the little things. It is the beauty of the little things that truly bring us the greatest joy, love and moments of unforgettable memories.
Don’t look back, don’t revert back – keep the focus on what’s ahead. Nothing in the past can be changed, nothing in the past can relived or redone. It can only build us and develop us on how we move forward. The only way to be successful tomorrow is to focus all of your efforts and energy on being successful!
